By a vote of 37-2, clubs have forced the Barbados Football Association (BFA) to reopen the nomination process, thereby necessitating the postponement of tomorrow’s elections.
After a two-hour-long emergency meeting at the Wildey Gymnasium on Thursday night, the clubs and the BFA agreed on September 6 as the new polling date to elect officers to serve for the next four years.
Division 1 leaders Blackspurs and Central League Spartans were the only clubs who voted to proceed with the election.
Word of this came from BFA president Randy Harris during a telephone interview yesterday. (AG-B)
