Human remains found in St Joseph

Police are at the scene of a bushy area of the old St Joseph Parish Church, off Joy Road, Joe’s River, St Joseph, where human skeletal remains were found today.

The Royal Barbados Police Force was alerted after 8 a.m., when a group of hikers reportedly came across the skeletal remains while hiking along a remote, bushy trail which started at the Old St Joseph Hospital.

Officers from the District F Belleplaine Police Station are on the scene and have confirmed the discovery.

Investigations are ongoing. (PR)
