Police are on the scene of an unnatural death at 9th Avenue, Durants Village St James.
According to police spokesman Rodney Inniss a 70-year-old man fell from the balcony of his home and died on the spot.
The incident occurred around 8:46 this morning.
The man was said to be trimming some trees from his upstairs balcony when the wooden railing support broke and he fell approximately 14 feet and struck his head.
He died at the scene. (PR/AGB)
