Police are carrying out investigations into a shooting incident which occurred on Tuesday night at Browne’s Gap, Sargeants Village, Christ Church.
Demarkko Coombs, 25 years, of Brownes Gap, and 18-year-old Zaquone Jones of nearby Harpers Land, were injured in the incident.
Coombs said he was sitting at the side of his house with Jones when two masked men, wearing hoodies and carrying firearms, came across a nearby pasture and fired a number of shots at them.
One of the bullets grazed Coombs’ right shoulder and Jones was shot in his right foot and right arm. Both gunmen escaped though a nearby track.
Coombs and Jones were both taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private car for medical attention.
