A flash-flood warning is in effect for Bridgetown and surrounding districts.
The Barbados Meteorological Services say maximum rainfall accumulations of 15 to 50mm in moderate to heavy showers, mainly around The City, are forecast from 1:20 p.m. Thursday.
An update will be provided at 6 p.m. or sooner if conditions warrant.
