Another child tests positive for COVID

An eight-year-old female visitor, who arrived on British Airways on Tuesday, tested positive for COVID-19 and is now in isolation.

The child, who is asymptomatic, was accompanied by her parents, who both tested negative.

Meanwhile, two people will be discharged from isolation on Wednesday after recovering from COVID-19. 

This brings the number in isolation down to seven, while recoveries increased to 171. Confirmed cases now stand at 185, with seven deaths.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 224 tests yesterday and 20 546 overall. (PR/SAT)
