No new virus cases today, one recovery

One person will be discharged from the isolation facility at Harrison Point, St Lucy, today after recovering from novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Ministry of Health said the negative result was among 301 tests returned by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory today. Therefore, the number of confirmed cases remains at 185, comprising 98 women and 87 men. Six people are in isolation, and 172 have recovered. Seven people have died.

The laboratory has now completed 21 069 tests. (BGIS)
