Flash-flood watch discontinued

The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) discontinued the flash-flood watch for the island.

According to a media release, radar rainfall accumulation data in conjunction with BMS automatic weather station data, indicated about an inch of rainfall fell around the Bridgetown area within the past two hours or so.

The heavy shower activity has diminished significantly and shifted northward of the island. (PR/SAT)
