One man is dead and another is nursing an injury to the abdomen in separate shooting incidents on Wednesday night.
They occurred at Golden Rock, The Pine and Hinds Gap, Halls Road, both in St Michael.
The deceased was discovered with a head injury at Golden Rock after the gunmen fled the scene. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by car for medical attention, but was later pronounced dead.
That incident occurred around 8:37 p.m.
In the other at Halls Road, police say a 27-year-old man was shot in the abdomen around 8:33 p.m. and was taken to the QEH by private car.
Investigations are continuing into both incidents. (PR/SAT)
