The Barbados Revenue Authority’s payment and customer service sections at the Weymouth Corporate Centre, St Michael, will close temporarily to taxpayers until further notice.

This will take effect from Monday, October 5, 2020.

According to manager, communications and public relations, Carolyn Williams-Gayle, the temporary closure is required as the Authority moves to enhance its service delivery centres.

“We are increasing the number of service agents available to assist at our other locations while allowing the Authority to reorganise to maintain strict protocols in an area with recognised space limitations,” she explained.

There are several online options for payment of land tax, including EZpay+, Cave Shepherd Mobile app, SurePay online and the online banking platforms for CIBC First Caribbean International Bank and First Citizens Bank. (PR)
