80 await word on Harrison Cave’s future

Employees of Harrison Cave have been summoned to a meeting this evening and speculation is rife that they will be informed about the takeover by new management.

Sources told the DAILY NATION that the 80 employees were contacted and notified to attend the very important meeting.

Harrison Cave, Barbados’ premier natural tourist attraction, has been closed since the pandemic struck in March and only administrative staff have been on duty.

Last year, Government announced it was handing over management of the Welchman Hall, St Thomas site to a company which was selected following a tendering process. (MB)
