Two great players epitomising longevity and success in road tennis, Julian “Michael Jackson” White and Sandra Bailey will be among 64 of the island’s best commencing battle on Sunday in the Goddard’s Sports & Social Club This Is Who We Are tournament organised by a Touch of Class.

The action will be centre stage in the Hanschell Inniss Limited car park, at Fontabelle, St Michael, with White and Bailey looking to grab the lion’s share of the $6 000 prize money when the tournament climaxes on the 14th.

Missing out will be the island’s number one players Sheldene Walrond and Mark “Venom” Griffith along with Kim Holder and shots-master Antonio “Lil Man” Daniel.

No reason has been given for the absence of Griffith, Daniel or Holder, but Walrond who has won most of the recent women’s finals has been recovering from a serious work-related accident.
