Barbadian on drug trafficking charges

Barbadian Jason Sundiata Roberts was arrested and charged with trafficking 5.5 kilos of cannabis.

Police say the 39-year-old of #183 Venus Drive, Cotton Terrace, Christ Church, went to Skyline Cargo, Grantley Adams International Airport, on November 6, 2020 to collect two barrels. During a search by customs officials, nine packages of cannabis were allegedly discovered.

Roberts was charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking, possession with intent to supply and importation.

He is scheduled to appear at the District ‘B’ Magistrate Court on Monday. (PR/SAT)
