Barbados has fallen two places in the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Human Development Index (HDI).

In the ranking contained in the just launched UNDP Human Development Report for 2020, Barbados and The Bahamas are tied in the 58th position, with Trinidad and Tobago next in line with a ranking of 67 out of 189 countries.

The HDI is the geometric mean of normalised indices for each of the three dimensions”.
