COVID cases pass 800-mark

There were 23 new positive cases of COVID-19 on Friday and 30 people will be released from isolation today.

The new cases, 11 women and 12 men, were among 1 400 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory and represent results for both locals and visitors.

There are now 428 people remaining in isolation.

Barbados has recorded 808 confirmed cases to date, comprising 347 females and 461 males. There were 373 recoveries and seven deaths.

The public health laboratory completed 81 888 tests. (BGIS)
