Political mileage should not be anyone’s goal right now as Barbados continues to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Instead, says Father Clement Paul, Barbadians need to unite if they want to see improvements.

During a service streamed live from St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cathedral, Jemmotts Lane, St Michael, yesterday, Paul said although there was a crisis, this was also the time for a “kairos moment”– action, conversion and transformation were needed.

“I believe personally that the present regime, our Government, is doing their best. I believe that our Prime Minister is genuinely hurt, troubled and worried by the fact that her nation is suffering the way it is. I don’t think it’s about power; I think it’s about care, concern and love. (TG)
