All services related to COVID-19 rapid testing and PCR testing, which were previously carried out at the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory, will now be available at the gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St Michael.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness said in a statement today that the new testing site will be opened to the public from Monday, February 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Additionally, there will be a fee of BDS$100 for the rapid testing of outbound travellers to the United Kingdom and the United States of America. Cash will not be accepted. People will be required to pay using credit or debit cards.

In addition to the new testing facility at the gymnasium, screening for COVID-19 continues daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Branford Taitt Polyclinic, Black Rock; Eunice Gibson Polyclinic in Warrens and Winston Scott Polyclinic, Jemmotts Lane, all in St Michael.

All polyclinics will continue to provide urgent care and emergency services only, in addition to COVID-19 screening. (BGIS)
