Woman, 53, latest COVID death

A 53-year-old woman is the latest death related to coronavirus (COVID-19).

This brings to 19 the number of deaths as a result of the viral illness. Ambassador Elizabeth Thompson made the disclosure a short while ago during the live broadcast of Government’s Press Conference on the management of COVID-19 in Barbados.

Thompson said the woman had complications from chronic non-communicable dieseases.

She expressed condolences to the family of the victim. (KG)
