Cyclist dies at QEH

A 36-year-old female cyclist succumbed to injuries sustained in an evening accident along Maxwell Main Road, Christ Church, on Friday.

Police say Melanie Watts of Maxwell Gardens died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) around 8:30 p.m. About three hours earlier, she was involved in an accident with a car and sustained head injuries.

Watts was taken to the QEH by ambulance.

Police investigations are continuing. (PR/SAT)
