Organiser of the Pull Up 4 Philip fundraising campaign Shekita Walcott says they have raised $75 000 to date.

Since the drive-thru event which was held in the car park of the Power in the Blood Assembly in St Michael for Philip Small Jr last week Saturday, Walcott said their target was $190 000 target.

“We raised about $50 000 during the drive-thru. Some people opted to do online banking and that was about another $25 000, so over $75 000 was raised. But of course, our target is $190 000, so \we still have a long way to go but we are grateful for the contributions we received so far,” Walcott said.

Last month, the Youth Ministry of the church launched the fund-raising campaign and asked Barbadians to support Small, who is one of their members as he battles Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. (TG)
