It will not be the usual Easter Sunday Barbadians are accustomed to, with the COVID-19 restrictions in place.
The major activities like Easter egg hunts, kite flying, picnicking or socialising with friends and family at the park or beach and the Easter bonnet parades and programmes at church will be drastically scaled back, or have been postponed.
Earlier this week, the COVID-19 Monitoring Unit warned Barbadians that they, along with the Royal Barbados Police Force would be cracking down on anyone in breach of the protocols and the latest directive.
However, some Barbadians told the Sunday Sun yesterday that they were still planning to make the weekend about relaxation and hanging out with the family. (SB)
