Six new virus cases, three people recover

Six women were identified as COVID-19 positive on Sunday, April 4, from the 354 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Meanwhile, three people recovered from the virus and were discharged from isolation. There are 109 people in isolation.

Barbados has recorded 3 685 confirmed COVID-19 cases – 1 780 women and 1 905 men since March 2020, and 3 537 people have recovered. There have been 43 deaths.

The public health laboratory has so far conducted 143 326 tests.

To date, 63 738 vaccinations – 26 344 men and 37 394 women – have been administered during the first phase of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. (BGIS)
