The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI SRC) has shared the latest processed image of LaSoufriere volcano in St Vincent done by Dr Adam Stinton and taken from the Sentinel-1 satellite.

The image, which was posted on the Centre’s Facebook Page, shows “changes to the summit crater with a possible smaller vent inside the new crater”.

“The black/dark areas to the west (left) of the summit are the pyroclastic flow deposits from earlier explosive events,” the Centre said. (UWI SRC)
