12 more recover from COVID-19

The 403 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Tuesday, April 20, identified four new COVID-19 positive cases, all women.

There were also 12 recoveries and 83 people remain in isolation.

The total confirmed COVID-19 cases moved to 3 797 (1 848 females and 1 949 males), and 3 704 people recovered.  There were 44 deaths from the viral illness.

Since February 2020, the public health laboratory conducted 149 826 tests.

To date, 71 134 vaccinations were administered to 29 353 men and 41 781 women under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. (BGIS)
