Ignore social media message on vaccines

A message circulating on social media informing the public that today they can get their second COVID-19 vaccine at the Winston Scott Polyclinic is incorrect.

Coordinator of the National Vaccination Programme, Major David Clarke told Nation Online it was not an open invitation to the public, but rather a redirection of people at the Masonic Lodge in Salters, St George, from one location to another.

The public is once again reminded to wait until they have received a call, email or text message confirming their second appointment, before turning up to a vaccination site. (RA)
