Price changes for petroleum products

Barbadian consumers will be paying more for some petroleum products, effective midnight, Sunday May 2.

The retail price of gasoline will increase by two cents, moving from $3.77 per litre to $3.79 per litre. Diesel and kerosene prices will decrease by two and three cents, respectively, with diesel being sold at $2.94 per litre, and kerosene at $1.20 per litre.

Meanwhile, the adjusted price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) 100-lb cylinder will be $149.19; the 25-lb cylinder will cost $42.40; the 22-lb cylinder will be retailed at $37.47, and the 20-lb cylinder at $34.07.

The price adjustment is in keeping with the landed price of petroleum products on the international market. (BGIS)
