Barbadian consumers will be paying more for some petroleum products, effective midnight, Sunday May 2.

The retail price of gasoline will increase by two cents, moving from $3.77 per litre to $3.79 per litre. Diesel and kerosene prices will decrease by two and three cents, respectively, with diesel being sold at $2.94 per litre, and kerosene at $1.20 per litre.

Meanwhile, the adjusted price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) 100-lb cylinder will be $149.19; the 25-lb cylinder will cost $42.40; the 22-lb cylinder will be retailed at $37.47, and the 20-lb cylinder at $34.07.

The price adjustment is in keeping with the landed price of petroleum products on the international market. (BGIS)
