Christ Church West Central MP Adrian Forde appealed to the young men of Christ Church to “put down the weapons of destruction and take up the tools of empowerment” according to the wishes of his late predecessor Joseph Edghill.

Making reference to the most recent shooting incident involving young men of the Gall Hill area, Forde reminded the youth of how Edghill dedicated much of his life to the upliftment of the young men of Christ Church East, particularly in the area of sport, and of Edghill’s mantra that “there is a wrong time to do the wrong thing”.

Tribute was paid to Edghill in the House of Assembly today. He died last year. (GC)
