UPDATE: Body of man missing at sea comes ashore

The body of Javonne Moise was recovered about 8:20 a.m. today. It washed ashore about 50 metres north of the search area where he was last seen.

The 21-year-old of Dash Valley, St George went missing while swimming at Brighton, St Michael on Sunday.

The Police Marine Unit and Barbados Coast Guard started a search for the missing man, but it was postponed around 6:40 p.m. due to poor lighting conditions. The search resumed this morning. (PR/SAT)
