The section of road in Holetown, St James from Rubis Service Station to the junction of Highway C and Highway 1 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., from Wednesday, May 12, to Friday, May 14.
The Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources said this forms part of the ongoing road works associated with the Highway 1 Rehabilitation Project.
The closures are to facilitate the milling and paving along the section of road from the Rubis Service Station to the bridge north of the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre.
Motorists travelling towards the east are asked to make the turn at Highway C, heading towards Lancaster, while traffic going to the north should turn between Massy Holetown and the Rubis Service Station and continue on to Seaview towards the St Thomas Roundabout. The Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources and its contractors apologise for any inconvenience which may be caused. (MTWW)
