The theft of nearly $100 000 worth of copper cable almost sank his company ten years ago, said businessman Alan Simmons.

He got no support from his insurance company either, he added.

However, the managing director of Simmons Electrical Co. Ltd, found it in his heart to forgive the three men accused of the act and asked that the matter against them be dismissed by the No. 2 Supreme Court.

Victor Byer, of Windsor Tenantry, St George; Fabian Christopher, of Workhall, St Philip; and Vincent Forde, of Evergreen Road, Church Hill, Christ Church, had been accused of stealing $110 000 worth of copper cable belonging to Simmons Electrical in 2011. (HLE)
