Brandon Rommel Allamby, who was the subject of a police wanted person’s bulletin issued on October 29, 2020 and again on December 16, 2020, appeared on May 20, 2021, at the District ‘A’ Criminal Court Number 2, before Magistrate Manila Renee.
Allamby, 22, of St Lawrence Main Road, Christ Church, was charged with a number of serious criminal offences.
He pleaded not guilty to the criminal damage charge but was not required to plead to the other matters which were indictable. He was remanded and is scheduled to reappear at the same court on June 17, 2021.
He is charged that he committed the following offences while at Brownes Gap, Sargeants Village, Christ Church on May 12, 2021.
• Unlawful possession of a firearm
• Unlawful possession of ammunition.
• Assault to prevent lawful apprehension.
These charges stem from the discovery of an AK-47 and the subsequent arrest of a male suspect who had tried to evade the police and was also found to have been in possession of four rounds of ammunition at that time.
He is also charged that on October 8, 2020, he committed the following offences:
• Endangering the life of Ryan Risbrook.
• Used a Firearm and did not have a valid licence to do so.
• Committed Criminal Damage to the dwelling house of Harley Leacock.
He is further charged that on August 25, 2020, he committed the following offences:
• Wounded Demarkko Coombs with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or to do some serious bodily harm to the said Demarkko Coombs.
• Wounded Zakwon Jones with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or to do some serious bodily harm to the said Zakwon Jones.
• Endangered the life of Demario Brathwaite.
• Endangered the life of Renico Phillips.
• Used a firearm and did not have a valid licence to do so.
