Police seek information on shooting in Duncan’s

Police are seeking the public’s assistance with their investigation into a shooting incident that took place on Friday in Duncan’s, St. Philip.

Officers from the District “C” station responded to an early morning shooting incident in which a 56-year-old man received gunshot wounds to various parts of his body, including the left side of his jaw, left side of his chest, left side of his shoulder and the left side of the upper part of his back.

Police said the shooting victim was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he received medical attention for his injuries.

Anyone who may have information that can assist the police with this investigation is asked to contact the District “C” at 416-8200, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1 800-TIPS (8477) or any police station.
