Two new virus cases, 46 people in isolation

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory identified two new positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), both males, from the 429 tests conducted on Monday, May 24.

Forty-six people are currently in isolation.

Since March 2020, there have been 4 000 cases of COVID-19 (1 933 women and 2 067 men). The virus has claimed 47 lives.

A total of 167 026 tests have been conducted by the public health laboratory.

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 76 413 people have been immunised. Of these, 55 586 people have been fully vaccinated during the second phase of the programme. (BGIS)
