BDF to convene ordinary court martial

The Barbados Defence Force (BDF) will convene an Ordinary Court Martial, in the Hodgson Hall Conference Centre, St Ann’s Fort, The Garrison, tomorrow, at 9 a.m.

A media statement from the BDF today said the accused, Ordinary Seaman Raheem Reeves, is charged with two counts of Neglect to the Prejudice of Good Order and Military Discipline contrary to Section 75 of the Defence Act CAP 159.

He will be represented by his personal attorney.

The panel will comprise the president, Major Alfred Taylor, and members Captain Michael Jules and Captain Patrice Cummins. The waiting members are Captain Michelle Thompson and Lieutenant Coast Guard Nakeida Gibson. The prosecutor is Captain Neville Corbin and the Judge Advocate is Principal Crown Counsel Krystal Delaney.

There are three spaces allocated to members of the public.
