Two men test positive for virus

Two men tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) on Wednesday, May 26.

They were identified from the 544 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Forty-two people are currently in isolation.

There have been 4 006 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1 934 women and 2 072 men) since March 2020. The virus has claimed 47 lives.

The public health laboratory has conducted 168 135 tests.

The National Vaccination Programme has seen 77 084 people vaccinated against COVID-19. This includes 57 998 people who have received both doses of the vaccine. (BGIS)
