Ricardio Morris to join men’s senior Barbados football squad

Bridgetown – Experienced defender Ricardio Morris has been recalled in the 24-man senior Barbados football squad named by head coach Russell Latapy Saturday morning to leave the island on Sunday for the second leg FIFA 2022 World Cup Qualifiers in the Dominican Republic.

Overseas professionals Hallam Hope and Thierry Gale, who missed the first leg matches, will bolster the team’s attack with Netherlands-based winger Ryan Trotman sidelined after recently testing positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Barbados Tridents will oppose host country, Dominican Republic on June 4 before clashing with Dominica on June 8 at the Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium.
