Six new COVID-19 cases, 39 people in isolation

Two men and four women tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

They were identified from 414 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

The number of people in isolation is now 39.

There have been 4,023 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1,946 women and 2,077 men) in Barbados, since March last year. The number of deaths from the virus is 47.

Since February last year, the public health laboratory has carried out 171,254 tests.

A total of 79,503 people have been vaccinated under the National Vaccination Programme, with 60,816 having received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
