Residents and businesses in Church View and Newcastle in St. John and surrounding districts are asked to store an adequate supply of water because the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) will be carrying out work in the area.

The BWA said in a media release it will be connecting new mains at Church View and Newcastle between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. this coming Monday.

As a result, residents and businesses located in the area may suffer low pressure or a water outage during this time.

The BWA said the work is part of the ongoing water supply network upgrade project funded by the Caribbean Development Bank.
