3 new COVID cases, 18 in isolation

Three new COVID-19 positive cases, all males, were identified on Friday, June 11, from the 554 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

There are currently 18 people in isolation.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 4 036 (1 952 females and 2 084 males) since the start of the pandemic in March, last year.  Forty-seven people died from the virus.

To date, the public health laboratory carried out 176 195 tests.

The National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 has seen 87 132 people receiving first doses of the vaccine, while 62 101 were given second doses and are fully vaccinated. (BGIS)
