All schools, with the exception of Grantley Adams Memorial, will return to their regular schedule on Friday, June 18.

Additionally, the Primary School Assessments that were slated to take place on Thursday were rescheduled to Monday, June 28. Those scheduled for Friday will now take place on Tuesday, June 29.

There shall be no written assessment at primary schools tomorrow, says acting chief education officer Joy Adamson.

Principals are also advised to await further direction from the Ministry on these rescheduled assessments.

The Ministry announced classes would be held online on Thursday after a tropical wave caused power outages and flooding and some roads were blocked by fallen trees.

The Lodge School and Alleyne School also sustained some damage. (PR/SAT)
