Seven new COVID cases, 13 in isolation

Seven new COVID-19 cases, comprising one male and six females, were recorded on Tuesday, June 22, from the 490 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Thirteen people are presently in isolation.

The total number of confirmed cases is 4 052 – 1 961 females and 2 091 males – and there were 47 deaths from the virus.

Since February 2020, the public health laboratory conducted 181 192 tests.

Meanwhile, 92 874 first doses of the vaccine were administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.  The number of people  receiving second doses and are fully vaccinated is 67 392. (BGIS)
