Rose Hill murder accused remanded

The 21-year-old man charged in the murder of a former police officer will return to court on July 20, 2021.

The accused, Keon Curwen Downes of Rose Hill, St Peter, appeared in the Holetown Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Wayne Clarke on Wednesday. He was not required to plea to the indictable charge.

Downes is accused of killing retired police officer Grenville Cumberbatch at his home on June 16. (PR/SAT)
