Police are at the scene of a shooting death in Deacons, St Michael.
The incident occurred around 10:20 pm and police confirmed one man is dead.
Some residents said they heard a number of gunshots, a pause and several more rounds of gunfire.
The incident occurred near the area commonly called the Red Sea.
