Fogging Schedule June 28-July 2

The Ministry of Health and Wellness will continue its mosquito eradication efforts in St George for a second week.

On Monday, June 28, the fogging team will visit Middleton, Baird’s Village, Logan Road, St Judes, Superlative, Fairview Heights, The Woods, Cottage Court, Todd’s Land and environs.

The following communities will be sprayed on Tuesday, June 29: Salisbury Park, Free Hill, Workman’s, Fairview Terrace and surrounding areas.

Jericho, Citrus Drive, Upper Workmans, Jordan and Rock Hall Park will be fogged on Wednesday, June 30.

The exercise will continue on Thursday, July 1, at Eastlynne, Bulkeleys Heights and Terrace, Good Intent, Crawford Road, James Sisnett Road, Ruth King Road, Sargeant Road, Blenman Road, Eustace Lashley Road, Glen Acres and nearby districts.

On Friday, July 2, Lower Brighton, Ellerton Housing Area, Upper Brighton, Buttals Tenantry, Ellerton Garden, Bulkeley Meadows and environs will be sprayed.

The fogging exercises will be carried out between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter.

Members of the public are reminded that the completion of scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond the control of the Vector Control Unit. In such circumstances, the Unit will return to affected communities as soon as it can. (BGIS)
