UPDATE: St Michael man dies in road accident

A 32-year-old St Michael man became Barbados’ latest road traffic victim.

Lamar Blades of 4th Avenue North Terrace, Meadow Road, Wildey, was a passenger in one of the two vehicles involved in the accident at the junction of Bank Hall Cross Road and Bank Hall Main Road around 12:48 a.m. on Sunday.

He died on the scene.

Three others were also injured in the accident. They were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for treatment. The most serious was said to be in a semi-conscious state.
