Fogging Schedule July 19 to 23

The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Vector Control Unit will continue its fogging programme in St George over the coming days.

The fogging team will visit Glebe Land #1 to #6, Rowans Park, South Exchange, Valley, Walkers Park West, and surrounding districts on Monday, July 19.

On Tuesday, July 20, they will spray Parish Land, Airy Road, Flat Rock, Flat Rock Housing Area, Locust Hall 1 & 2, Moonshine Hill, Philips Road and environs.

The following areas will be fogged on Wednesday, July 21: Walkers Valley #1 & #2, 1st Avenue Valley Development, Salters and neighbouring districts, while Roach Village, Paradise, Jericho, Market Hill, Moonshine Close, Bel-Air 1 & 2, and nearby communities will be sprayed on Thursday, July 22.

The exercise will conclude on Friday, July 23, at James Sisnett Road, Ruth King Road, Sargeant Road, Blenman Road, Crawford Road, Eustace Lashley Road, Windsor Hill, Windsor and the surrounding districts.

The fogging exercise will be carried out between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter.

Members of the public are reminded that the completion of scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond the control of the Vector Control Unit. In such circumstances, the Unit will return to affected communities as soon as it can. (BGIS)
