The Barbados Concerned Citizens Against Mandated and Coerced Vaccination (BCCAMCV) will be marching tomorrow against vaccination intimidation.

During a press conference yesterday at Pelican Village, The City, Ibdul Rahman, a student minister in the Nation of Islam, one of the groups associated with BCCAMCV, said the march was intended to highlight the vast disapproval of mandatory and coerced vaccination.

“We feel that we can no longer remain publicly silent on the thorny issue of mandated, forced and coerced COVID-19 vaccination,” he said. “The proposition that is currently being debated by members of our Government, members of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) and other local business entities is an abhorrent and flagrant violation of the human rights and dignity of the Barbadian people.”

Rahman said the walk, which will start at Pelican Village and end in Independence Square, was intended to be a peaceful protest. (SB)
