Ten more COVID cases

Ten new cases of COVID-19, four females and six males, were recorded by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Friday, August 13.

On that day, 1 355 tests were conducted and there are currently 107 people in isolation.

Since March 2020, confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 4 525 (2 200 females and 2 325 males). Forty-eight people died from the viral illness.

To date, the laboratory has conducted 237 445 tests.

There were 101 011 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered under the National Vaccination Programme. Additionally, 85 076 people, or 31.4 per cent of the population, received second doses and are fully vaccinated. (BGIS)
