Good going for Du Badd

Festival favourites and defending mixed champions Du Badd continued their good form in the mixed division when this year’s Barbados Hockey Festival continued on the third day at the Wildey AstroTurf yesterday.

Du Badd started the day with a comfortable 2-0 win over ABC, courtesy of goals from Peter Alleyne and Che Roach.

Alleyne’s 20th minute strike capped off a flowing team move which gave Du Badd the lead just before the half-time break.

He collected the ball a few yards away from goal and after moving into the circle, he played a neat give-and-go with Cherise Mapp before calmly slotting the return ball into the back of the net. (NM)
