The Barbados Water Authority is repairing a burst on a 12-inch main on Hastings Main Road, Christ Church.

As a result, customers in Hastings, Deighton Road, Dayrells Road, St Matthias, Kings Village, Rockley, Navy Gardens, Rendezvous and surrounding districts may experience outages or low water pressure while the repair work is being conducted.

The Authority is also replacing two leaking valves in Warrens Hill, St Michael. This work has resulted in low pressure or water outages to residents in Millennium Heights, Arthur Seat, Welches Grove, Crystal Heights, Exchange, 1st & 2nd Avenue Bibby’s Lane and surrounding areas.

In addition, the water supply to residents of some St Lucy districts may still not have returned to normal after work there on Friday and Saturday.

The Authority will make every effort to assist customers in all affected areas via tanker as a temporary measure and apologises for the inconvenience these service disruptions have caused. (PR/SAT)
